Welcome to Williamson Elementary School in Rancho Cordova, CA!

We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to you and your family to our wonderful elementary school! Williamson Elementary is more than just a school; it's a place where young minds flourish, and dreams take flight.

We are a Community School! We provide additional support for families and students beyond the classroom and connecting to community programs to help with expanded learning opportunities for students and families, counseling services, information about community resources, and so much more!

At Williamson Elementary School, we cater to students from Preschool through 5th grade, including Transitional Kindergarten for 4-year-olds. We understand the importance of comprehensive care, which is why we offer after-school care services until 6 pm through our ASES program, which is paid on a sliding scale, and Student Care, which you pay based on days and hours needed, options, providing a safe and enriching environment for our students beyond the traditional school day.

Our school is proudly committed to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), where we emphasize our ROAR values: Responsible, On Task, Always Safe, and Respectful. These values form the foundation of our school culture, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment for all. We focus on the six pillars of character and instruct all of our students in Social Emotional Learning.

As a Professional Learning Community (PLC) school, we prioritize collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making to ensure the success of every student. Our dedicated educators work tirelessly to provide focused and intentional learning opportunities in every classroom. We believe in offering a well-rounded education that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence. Our grade levels attend multiple enriching field trips each school year, connecting our students to our community, and our students participate in multiple assemblies each school year. Our students receive specialized instruction in various subjects, including Science, Spanish, Art, Physical Education, and Music. 

Our parents are our partners, and we work to connect as often as possible. We are excited to embark on this educational journey with you and your child. Join our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at our monthly meetings. We love it when our parents volunteer in our classrooms, on our campus, and on our field trips. Complete the volunteer screening so you can help around our school. Parents are also included in our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) and in our School Site Council (SSC). Both of these committees provide valuable perspectives and input on our school programs and activities.
